The result of the study shows that Tourism Management majoring students preferred spoken English to written English for the tourism real world tourism activities. Specifically, speaking and listening skills, pronunciations and vocabularies are aforementioned needs of Tourism Management majoring students for future occupation. On the other hand, speaking and reading skills are the prior needs of tourism majoring students for their academic purposes. the author recommends the present ESP courses should focus on speaking and listening skills.

The analysis shows that there is not enough information about conference tourism possibilities in Lithuania abroad. Currently, Vilnius is the conference center, but there is potential to develop this industry in other towns in Lithuania. Furthermore, the research shows that actual level of transportation, accommodation, conference organization, and service is relatively satisfactory. Finally, during the research it was found out that people’s image of Lithuania improves after visiting. It concludes that Lithuanian representatives should work properly in order to inform foreign people about Lithuania. In order to do so, representatives need financial support from government as well as from private resources. In general, the quality of conference tourism provided by Lithuanian conference tourism organizers to foreign visitors is satisfactory, however has some weaknesses, and there are many possibilities for future development of conference tourism industry in Lithuania.

Multi-skilling for front-line managers in hotels in Taiwan is the main focus of this book. The literature suggests that multi-skilling addresses two industrial problems in Taiwan; the shortage of qualified workers and the high turnover rate of staff in the five-star hotel industry. Both factors have negatively impacted on the productivity and performance of five-star hotels in Taiwan, as a high level of service delivery cannot be sustained by inexperienced staff in accordance with a service profit chain model.
